Built for Young Adults.
The Table is an intentionally ecumenical Christian community dedicated to faith formation and fellowship for young adults. The Table’s website is invaluable in keeping its 7 sponsor congregations and several other partner groups up to date on the latest happenings at The Table.
Contextual Design.
Creating and maintaining a website for The Table is a unique undertaking, because its ministry context is so unusual. The Table needed a website that was:
Rooted in faith.
Ecumenical by design.
Salt Lake City oriented.
To accomplish all of these goals, I worked to incorporate local topography and cityscapes into the website’s design, as well as interdenominational Christian art and imagery. There are specific pages to highlight partners in ministry, and the calendar allows The Table to promote events at partner congregations. The result is a website that understands its roots, and is able to effectively serve the needs of all those who use it.
